Bio: Syed Mhamudul Hasan is pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in Computer Science under the supervision of Dr. Abdur Rahman Bin Shahid. He earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
After completing his graduation, he began an 8-year IT career, starting as a .NET developer, creating software solutions and web applications. He later worked with technologies like Angular, Ruby on Rails, PHP Laravel, and Java, gaining experience in cloud computing and deploying applications on AWS. In his last role as a DevOps engineer at Dynamic Solution Innovators, he managed large-scale deployments on Kubernetes. He holds professional certifications, including AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect - Associate, Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+.
A technology enthusiast and avid learner, his current research focuses on cybersecurity and AI-based technologies, emphasizing sustainable AI. His research explores adversarial attacks, fairness-targeted attacks, and the balance between AI robustness and sustainability.
